The Jeffersonville Redevelopment Commission is spending $49,500 taxpayer dollars to promote the building of a new school next to the jail and the closing of Spring Hill and Maple.

This is an issue that is likely to go through the Petition and Remonstrance process.  Where do those who are opposed to the plan go to get tax dollars to advertise their concerns?

In order to go through the Petition and Remonstrance process (where people sign "yellow forms" if they are in favor of the project; and "blue forms" if they are against), we must first get 500 signatures of property owners or registered voters who want to see the process followed.

If you are interested in having this go to the people, please send me a message with your name and contact information.   We need people to help get the 500 signatures.   If we don't get the 500 signatures, then it is essentially a "done deal".
