Greater Clark announced that enrollment dropped by 157 students this year.  That is part of a long trend.

In 2006, enrollment was 10,690.  In 2016 it was 10,483 and we are dropping again.

At the same time, population in Clark County has been growing at a steady 1.5% per year with the rate now beginning to accelerate. Jeffersonville is booming. Charlestown is seeing new development.

Why does GCCS drop while the county grows?  Does that mean that people are choosing alternatives other than GCCS?

Could it be bad management?

Poor management, lack of credibility, poor educational product.    All would be correct answers to why the enrollment is declining.
