So is anyone left on here?

I have questions for those who might still be reading/posting.

1. Should we just let the Chatter die?

2. Who would be interested in seeing another forum for Clark County? One with fewer sub-forums, simpler to navigate.

Thanks!

I still check the forums now and again.

I feel that the google  "deceptive site" warning is killing the forum.

I check the site regularly and think it is a valuable source of local information. I hope it can survive.

I check the site from time to time too. Here is my $0.02 -

  • Get a new host who can fix the deceptive site warning. The warning page drives new visitors away if they even get that far - it also prevents a direct link to the site from being listed in a google search.
  • Ditch the sub-forum model. If I counted right, the chatter has 28 forums and subforums! One is enough. I'm not sure if the board software supports tags to help sort content, but meta tags work just fine for very high-traffic sites like stack overflow.
  • It hasn't been an issue lately because of traffic issues, but heavy-handed moderation is a great way to get people to leave.

I still check in during the week hoping to see new stuff. It has been dead lately. If we are looking to launch a new one I will be glad to help with it also.

I still check in, but not as much as I used to since everyone basically quit posting. A new forum is a good idea.

I'm still here GG.  Hoping it will pick back up.  I agree as stated above the security stuff is a hassle.  Another host may help.

I still check in from time to time, looking for local info about what's going on. Not much has apparently happened since the demise of people named MIKE

I still check in, in hopes of seeing new things and getting scoops.  Also still having to go through warnings to get here, though.   I bet alot of people won't do that.

I check several times a week.   I am still getting the warning, but I just bypass it.

I know I'm late to the party but I still check the CCC forums regularly (at least once per week). I like the local information.

I check in once in a while. The warnings block my desktop but my Chromebook will access.

Mods were too overbearing and pc. Let the forum rock like the Hey Martha days or let it die.

I check in every now and then just to see if any new info is posted.  Sad to see the demise, but I think its already happened.

I enjoy hearing what's going on around in Clark County . Is there any other sites that are like this and could supplement my chatter habit? No one posts anything anymore.

I still pop in about once a week. Lately I've been following Hoosier Taxpayer and Southern Indiana Open Minded blogs. Different formats than Chatter but still informative.
