Wow. Tennessee Trey legally obligated to live in five states simultaneously.

Even better. His business is based where?

Rob Burgess is the campaign spokesman for Traveling Trey... Burgess is a political hack that sneaks around various social media sites... Posts information and doesn't disclose that he is part of the campaign...

Just another liar that you can't trust...

And in other news, the Democratic Party is helping to fund Russell Brooksbank... What's up with that? Says a lot about what the libertarians really stand for. Brooksbank for Congress mailer paid for by the Democratic Party dropped today.

The Dems did the same thing a few years ago when, I believe, Baron Hill was running. Our candidate was Greg Knott and Dems sent out mailers saying Greg was the "real conservative" in the race.

It explains some of the animosity that has been directed at our candidates here. The Dems have the resources for research and polling. Our candidate is a factor, contrary to the snide online remarks.

Why even care about this guy? A major political party cares enough to spend money on him.

Also, Russell really is a better choice than Trey for all the reasons on those mailers. They really did a good job on them.

Has there been any polling on this race?  I haven't seen any.  Since the redistricting after 2010, the 9th is a pretty reliably R district, but the volume of commercials suggests that this race is much closer than any of Young's elections.

I think Trey started running tv ads before he even moved here.  Easy to do when your daddy has all that money.

But Yoder is running a bunch of ads.  The D candidate hasn't run any ads in this district the past couple cycles.  They must think they have a chance this time.

The D's decision to send out a mailer touting Russell means they are seeing close polling numbers. The district is supposedly reliably red, but Lord Hollingsworth of Tennessee is a weak link.

I'm voting for Russell because Yoder is just too far left for me, but given the reality that Russell isn't going to win, I'd like to see Yoder take him down because if he gets that seat, he'll be there for a long time.

Sounds like the Dems are getting desperate.  They know that RB has no chance whatsoever.

It's worth the investment to them.

If they were desperate, they wouldn't bother to spend the money.

It's the opposite, the race is close in this supposedly reliably red district, so it's totally worth the money.

Problem is, as far as I can tell, most of the money is from outside the 9th district. Almost all attack ads are paid for by Super Pacs. This is the Citizens United case at its worst. My vote is "anybody but Trey"

Fehrman did a nice job on this...

Two things... I hope Hollingsworth gets stomped... And I hope he stops by my house this weekend... I'd dearly love running his ass off...

OK, Kelley, I hope you´re sitting down.

I voted for a Libertarian candidate in every race except for president.

For the first time in my life, I chose to not vote for a presidential candidate.

Wow. Thank goodness I am sitting down.

Thanks!

I almost feel bad for being so hard on you. Almost!!

Lol. For real, thanks.
