Please keep Andre's family and classmates in your thoughts and prayers...

Andre was a second-grade student at Northaven Elementary

Greater Clark County Schools released a statement saying that the district is "very saddened" by the death and that principal Tonja Brading and School Administrative Manager Leslie Kelley contacted the parents of each student in the boy's class. The school also sent out a mass notification to all Northaven parents and staff.

“Because of our close school community, this death touches everyone at our school," Brading said in the release. "I’ve encouraged parents to speak with their child about the loss of Andre, so that our counselors can meet with students to offer more support as needed. Our thoughts are with Andre’s family at this time.

This cute little guy really reminds me of my grandson who is 7.  This just breaks my heart.

This is a hell that I can't even imagine... for all concerned...

The story of how this happened seems really unlikely to me... I'll be interested in hearing "the rest of the story"...
