Laws... rules... executive orders... more and more and more... Our Government is completely out of control... it has been for a long time. But the problem is not the Government or politicians... it's the average apathetic American citizen that either does not vote, or doesn't properly educate themselves before they vote. Regardless... something has to change... this can only happen, because the weak allow it...

"There is no one in the United States over the age of 18 who cannot be indicted for some federal crime,” retired Louisiana State University law professor John Baker told the Wall Street Journal in July 2011. “That is not an exaggeration.”

Study: 2015 was record year for federal regulation

2015 was a record-setting year for the Federal Register, according to numbers the Competitive Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C., released Wednesday.

This year’s daily publication of the federal government’s rules, proposed rules and notices amounted to 81,611 pages as of Wednesday, higher than last year's 77,687 pages and higher than the all-time high of 81,405 pages in 2010 — with one day to go in 2015.

Every time I drive past one of the palacial new firehouses in our area, or down one of the newly narrowed streets, with bike lanes, dividing islands, and curbs jutting out into the roadway, i weep for our country. These are two glaring examples of our government being completely and brazenly out of control, and they are thumbing their noses at us because, afterall, it's our money they are pissing away on these idiotic projects. We need to bring back tar and feathers.

The Bundy standoff, vers.2.0

Seems the B.L.M. does not want private land ownership interfering with their operations.

Long backstory.....

Breakfast Club Fairness and Equality of "SIT IN " Protest Rights Discussion

Occupy Wall Street Meets bro Clive Bundy's Rights at the 'ol guv-mint's BLM!

The demonstration
is a time honored American form of protest action.
This is an accepted  American civil rights "sit in" type demonstration and protest!

Look to our American history of this acceptable expression of rights and protests

against perceived government oppression.

Lunch counters, bus seating restrictions, water fountains and restrooms, employment and hiring,

school desegregation , many union actions, housing, government facilities and buildings, college presidents and administration buildings, nuclear power, marijuana toking, water rights, taxation without representation,

Boston Tea Party,"entitlement" protests, military draft protests, gender equality , GLBT,

paying back school loans, private corporations,

public streets and parks, micro-aggressions, war and military bases,

and  my personal favorite ........O C C U P Y   W A L L  S T R E E T...!

One group with one political orientation
does got get to dictate
to any other American group
what they may or may not protest

nor if they may stage a "sit in/occupy" type protest...

The  other person members  of Group A cannot restrict
a second  group's rights, Group B,

to stage their personal protest "sit down" or "occupy acts" of Civil Disobedience!

The elitist groups must not attempt to degrade the rights

of others! They must be observant, fair,  inclusive,

and  respectful of the protest rights of others.

Remember...... "The Whole World is Watching!"

  :mc-smiley:

Saw a post where this militia group is being referred to as Y'allQaeda... sounds about right, domestic terrorists that they are. Another poster asked the question "so these guys want to take back this land that their white ancestors stole from the natives"?  School had to be shut down in Burns for this entire week... Don't think they're making many friends there.

Problem is, if her majesty, Queen Hillary gets crowned and takes her place on the throne, this will get much worse. Believe this country is doomed.

You're not going to find any saints in this, from the government, the ranchers or the protesters.  However it is obvious from your post you have done very little, if any, background work in evaluating this situation.

If at first you don't secede, try and try again.

It is plain you do not understand how land in other areas has been historically or is currently managed.  To really understand it you would have to visit the areas as well as study the history and the current status.  However a little time reading up on it would give enough knowledge to understand why it isn't as simple as you think it is.

I'm fine with the Federal Government owning property, in essence it is owned by all of us.  If the property is going to be "given back" then it should be to the rightful native tribes that it was taken from in the first place.
