I agree that a man getting fired is serious business. So is breaking campaign promises. I'm interested and will be waiting for full disclosure.

Which department head is being fired? Are you implying palmer? McSneaky stop acting like a weasel and state facts. All you do is mis-state facts and start rumors.

How about being interested in school board races? They control tax dollars, as well. There is a thread in the education forum about the new school in Clarksville and it's stirring up quite the controversy at the administration office. Maybe some of the good concerned voters in Clarksville should read through that thread.

There is so much misinforamtion on chatter. So much twisting. Worse than most politicians I know. The attack on me me will be what do I know and how am I so informed. I will not be engaged in such chatter. Individuals have a right to opinions. But, to state those as facts, is not accurate I have been silent for a while now and will remain that way again. The thread you mentioned is a good example. Dont't bait me .Over!

Our deputy chief recently announced that he would give up the deputy chief position and go back on a fire crew.  I heard it was his personal decision to do so, and he was not forced.  Perhaps this is the change you heard?

The current Clarksville Building Commissioner does an excellent  job.

The responsibilities  of a building commissioner are very detailed, difficult,  and important.

"Revenge" against the office over a small dispute actually started by the current town council,

not the building commissioner's office itself,

in reference to the size and placement of some political signs is not a good idea.

Taking it out on the building  commissioner's office is not the best path.

The new town council should take a deep breath

and think this one through.

Uh, oh....
Is the act of name calling someone "McSneaky" and a weasel
a hurtful micro-aggression
and the use of a "perjorative"?

pe·jor·a·tive
"A disparaging or belittling word or expression"

If the name called McSneaky person  is represented by

a swimming weasel, is the seagull one of the "Gang of Four"?

SR, where was this response when someone was called a "Bag Man" because of your mis-information? I know you are just a messenger, but not always on top of your game. Your false posts are not much better than Sleepy's.

Wrong.

SR never posted anything about anyone being a "bag man".

That suppostiton was made by others.

The campaign finance reports posted were just the actual donations and expenditures.

SR never said anything about a "bagman". Please re-read.

You owe SR an apology,

you rascal!

As usual, SR, this is a little too cryptic for me to understand.  What are you implying here?

TomD, bro you are always at the top of your game.

SR likes that.

Run your traps.

You may find out some unseemly things, including the alleged stalking.

If this injustice is allowed to go forward, it is a big mistake

for the incoming new town board.

It is not a very wise way to begin their term.

It is not in the best interests of safety, fairness. or the citizens of Clarksville.

The building commissioner's office should not be a scapegoat

and the functions of the office require someone

technically proficient as is now occurring.

Someone should think this through.

Cooler heads should prevail in the best interests of all.

Breakfast Club

The intrepid  Breakfast Club

does always have attendees from both the D side and the R side.

They are from different parts of the county.

Some are actual members

of breakaway factions

from splinter groups

and some are not.

It is lively to say the least.....

A number was brought up to us

and no one seemed

to know what it

represented

to date.

Now, don't be mean to 'ol SR.

The number discussed was: 22,372.85.

What is it?

:drink:

This guy Row is all over the county with news.

Your post caused me to make a few calls, the following is

a few items I find odd.

1. Why would a simple candidate who runs a mom and pop shop

be passing out money like it is free?

2. I have never witnessed a candidate run for office and give big money

to all the other candidates.

Where I am from, The Wind City, this is called a BAG MAN.

Why would a said candidate be passing out this amount of cash.

I will seek to get all financial reports to set the amount but this seems odd if nothing else.

I ask  Mr. Row, Russell and Grumpy Granny to help me understand this issue.

I ask these three because they seem to be connected to the masses and have the

contacts to help a poor man understand this.

This is a dangerous task, when this kind of money is passed around people get scared.

Remember, as you have now correctly posted, Savile Row made no statement as to any "bag men".

A question was raised at the Breakfast Club about the number. Someone else posted

and said it was correct.

You seem somewhat concerned  about someone else's supposition about "bag men".

What is that about "bagmen", bro?

SR never said that.

Fill us in....
