The future of Charlestown boils down to one thing, Infrastructure, both political parties and all of the candidates agree that the new bridge and the River Ridge development will give Charlestown a great opportunity to grow.  With an outdated water system and no filter plant in place, Charlestown will not be prepared for the projected growth.  No sane person would consider Charlestown as a viable  place to build a home or start a business. If Mayor Hall is telling the truth and our water is safe to drink (which is very doubtful) no one will be willing to tolerate the black water and the staining of sinks, toilets ,and bath tubs.  Bob Hall does not want a filter plant because it was not "HIS" idea. our children will pay the price for Bob Hall's arrogance, as long as Bob Hall is Mayor, our infrastructure will continue to be outdated and our growth will be stagnated for generations to come !  But we will have the biggest light display in Southern Indiana !
