Who had the worst State Audits ever for the Clark Floyd County area? The $450,000 in gas doesn't even go back to the start of the employment of the sub-contractor by the town. The previous 15 years was not audited by the State Auditor. How much more was taken? We don't know because State Attorney General stopped at the limit of the statute of limitations. What about the earlier years? Is that the VISION you want and expect for your visionaries you so highly regard? Why did it take so long? Why was local investigation not started? One new Democrat helped hire him, two others worked with him for years. Great vision there. Now they think they can make better decisions.

Not sure what direct mail piece you speak of.

I read the brochures on the Dem. Website.

Sleepy AND blind? The democratic mailers have your folks talking out of both sides of their mouths.

Burning red over these mailers that appeared in my mail today. FOLKS, WE'VE BEEN LIED TOO. Flat out lied too. The proof of the lies made it to your mailboxes in the last couple of days...They tell us they wanted to run a "survey" and find out if the folks of this town want fair voting. Then as the election is a few days away, they claim...as a benefit to electing them...that they will say no to fair voting.

When they began filling our mailboxes with BS earlier in the year with the statements that they will run a committee for looking into a town manager (which was already done), they now simply say No as if it were the worst thing for the town.

THERE IS NOTHING NEW ABOUT THIS STYLE OF POLITICS FROM CLARKSVILLE DEMOCRATS!!!!

i hope all voters take notice...they have already lied directly to you twice. They propose to keep the horrid Gang of Four politics in place.

It really is time to bring them down for the lying fools they are and bring real change to this town. Simple as that.

DON'T BE LIED TO AGAIN!!!

Why is the "Contract on Clarksville" not updated at the New Democrats website? Are they trying to have it both ways?

Vision Clarksville Voter Vision

And Vision is no Mistake.

They remodeled a 50 year old pool and a 50 year old ballpark. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! vision

If Republicans were on the board, I guess It would have taken 75 years?

It should have been done years sooner. If you lived here then, you would be asking "why so long?".

I just believe you are lucky to live in Clarksville, the Dems

have done a very good job.  My opinion.

But I believe it's been mentioned that YOU don't live in Clarksville? Now, why would that be?

Tommy  I have friends live in Jeff Sellersburg New Albany

All of them Love Clarksville.  No story.  Where would you rather live?

Which of the above is managed better.

Truth Hurts...

  Sleepy, if your friends love Clarksville so much, why do they live in Jeff, Sellersburg or New Albany?

...Call him if you have questions.

I have never hidden  the fact he is a friend...

You have long been his 'mouthpiece' here on Chatter, singing his praises and telling us what he thinks.  Why change now?  You seem to live inside his head.  So tell us your opinion...what is the truth and what is not the truth regarding his positions?  The ones in the 'contract' or in the mailer?  Or are they both not true?

Tom D

I will not change.

Bob McEwen is the best man for the job in my opinion.

I have not changed.  I just got tired of you blindly singing the praises

of the other side.  You are good at beating a person down, but I have

not seen any evidence of why the other side is better.

McEwen is a good guy, you are never going to change that.

He has a great background, you are never going to change that.

He is not part of the party you prefer...I understand.

But don't try to beat a good man down.  We need good people

to run and we have that in this election.

Just Vote.   But don't beat good people down you look foolish.

TomD's question was did your man flip-flop on the "Contract with Clarksville" like the other "New Dems"?

Looks like New is Old again. Could not even wait until after the election. Hard to break old habits.

Clarksville General Elections

The judge is unopposed,

so we have the clerk

and seven town council races.

Who are your picks?

Bragging rights

go to the persons

who correctly predict the winners and loosers.

Strut your stuff!

2015
Clarksville General Elections

I noticed that  that Charles King has emerged
and has both a town wide mailer and a lot of fresh new signs.
Also, Bob McEwen has really been working hard
and has a lot of support. I saw him going door to door several times.
Are these New Democrats going to win?
What is anyone hearing?
How close will the races be on Tuesday?
What are  the Republican, Democrat, and Independent organizations
doing with their respective "turn out the vote" strategies?

Jamey and Tom are the R and D party chairs.

I think Kelley is the Libertarian chair.

Has anyone gotten any feedback from them this past week on how they feel things are going?

They should all have a lot of knowledge about how things are shaping up for their teams.

The Newsandribune voter guide information is very nice.

What is the "Cliff Notes" version of the individual candidate's responses?

1). Kelley is the Chairman of the Libertarian Party.

2). Yeah, I saw Charles King's brand new signs in the median of Veterans Parkway today. Wonder what would happen if I stuck a couple out there as well?
