Maybe I'm missing it but isn't Trump against illegal immigration not immigration in itself. He sure is making politics interesting . I would love see a one on one debate with Clinton. I wouldn't vote for either but I would pay to watch. Pure entertainment

It's been said the GOP needs 40% of the Hispanic vote to win in 2016...  There will never be a President Trump.

Haven't you learned yet..."Never say never."?

I'm no math wiz but if 25% of Americans identify as Republicans, and 34% of them support Trump, I think that means 0.085% of "the people like" Trump.

I see that Trump isn't going to attend the debate tomorrow night... predictably... and most likely what he is going for is getting the media all wetting themselves over this...

It's a shame that he and I are so far apart... because I just love watching him get all of the establishment peeps riled up... fun stuff...

Breakfast Club
Pope tells Trump building walls ‘not Christian’ on way back to walled-in Vatican
Published February 18, 2016
· FoxNews.com

Pope Francis
questioned Donald Trump's Christianity
Thursday over the Republican presidential hopeful's plan
to build a wall on the Mexican border, but the pontiff himself lives behind massive stone walls.

Speaking from Mexico
as he departed from a weeklong tour
in which he spoke before millions, His Holiness
took a direct shot at Trump, who has made his plan
to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it a centerpiece of his campaign.

"A person who thinks only about building walls,
wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian,"
Pope Francis said. "This is not in the Gospel."

Trump supporters quickly took to the Internet, noting the irony of the pope's comment.

“For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful,” Trump said

in a statement. “I am proud to be a Christian and, as president,

I will not allow Christianity to be consistently attacked and weakened,

unlike what is happening now, with our current president.”

Hypocrisy abounds.

The Pope is making comments about walls while living in a walled city. Trump's tripping about the Pope questioning someone's faith, what, a week, after he questioned Cruz's.

Edit: just fact checked the Trump at Cruz crack. It was last week, and he's also questioned Obama's and Ben Carson's faiths, lol.

As a Catholic I think Pope Francis was out of line . And I love my pope. National security isn't a religious issue. The Vatican has never been relaxed on security or has a open door policy.

I think if you're in the Jesus business... you should stay out of the politic business. This pope seems to very comfortable wading into the political cesspool on occasion...

Breakfast Club

The Fight for American Democracy

Within The Republic Continues

A historical sage reminded us today :

At one time there was a Pope
from Poland, whom originated from behind the Iron Curtain,
that helped President Ronald Wilson Reagan, the British government,
and Polish labor leader and later PM Lech Walesa,
bring down the Evil Soviet Empire.
His name was John Paul II.

John Paul II is recognized as helping to end Communist rule

in his native Poland and eventually all of Europe.  [9]

John Paul II significantly improved

the Catholic Church's relations with Judaism, Islam, the Eastern Orthodox Church, and the Anglican Communion.

He supported the Church's Second Vatican Council and its reforms.

The sage also told us:

This  current Pope seems

to have forgotten that the struggle

against Communist totalitarianism is not over.

If the current Pope must get into politics and really wants to be helpful,

he should be supporting and praising The Donald's brave efforts to extend freedom, prosperity,

and democracy and the effort to help save America.

Pope John Paul II worked with President Reagan

and the Western Democracies

to  collapse

the Evil Soviet Empire.

The way cool

public relations aspect

of this is that 'The Pope' got 'The Donald'

yet more free publicity

and advertising

going into the

SC primary!

Uh, aren't Catholics supposed to consider the Pope infallible? That is so not what I'm seeing on FB.

If the type of religious folks that believe natural disasters are punishments for sins are right, and going after the Pope is wrong, we may need to brace for a flood, plague, rapture, God only knows (literally).

I believe the Pope is a good man but still just a man. Even though I love my faith I will always believe in free choice. I just don't drink the Kool Aide and follow. Wrong is wrong and even though Trump is a character ( to put it mildly) the pope was wrong today.
