To me I want a candidate I can trust.

I want them to be Educated and have

financial experience.  Just my opinion.

Usually the EN runs info on contested races.

{passes the popcorn} I don't think she was offended. I think she was actually offering friendly advice in a round about way. Sometimes it isn't anything a candidate may say that will do them harm, but rather what those who appear to be supporters may say, KWIM? I am fully prepared to sit back and watch folks tear the candidates down though (I have plenty of popcorn 😉), unless it's coming from anyone who supports me. In which case, I want to make it clear that I want to run a campaign that talks about my views and ideas as opposed to tearing my opponents down. I want folks to understand what I believe and how I will govern and make their decision based on that, not any mudslinging or belittling taking place by anyone who might be looked at as my supporter. Sorry, kinda got on a soapbox there. Return to your neutral corners and come back out when the bell rings.....

She thinks the personal, negative stuff is tacky and wants to discourage it here.

Darrel, Kelly, and Dave (in no particular order),

One question...where do you stand on fair voting?

Is this race really hot?

Seems The News And Tribune doused the flames in their Wednesday April 29th edition and Voter's a Guide.

Conn & Rayborn were interviewed and answered voter's guide questions.

Disponett refused to be interviewed by the reporter or participate in their questionnaire?

Why would a candidate refuse what is essentially free advertising?
Politicians are suppose to be ready to be interviewed by the media, especially for an office they are seeking!

So what is Diamond Dave Disponett hiding? His very residency in Clarksville is in question along with much more.

In my opinion it's now a two man race, the Diamond was a fake.

Diamond Dave Disponett had his residency challenged by a republican citizen early on. Election board threw it out on a technicality as the gentleman lived in a different district than the challenge filing. The evidence was never reviewed! Diamond does not, by his own admission, live in a tiny house behind the plumbing store which appear on his election filing. Diamond lives on Hwy 62 in Charlestown! He calls it his Camp 62! His candidacy is illegal from the very start!

His residency was challenged but because it wasn't by someone in his district, it was thrown out.
Funny since Clarksville is town wide.

I thought his Residency can be challenged if he wins.

Board did not hear complaint because guy who brought

complaint did not live in district.

This will come up again.

After studying this race we will cast our votes for Conn. Easily the most qualified, and this will eliminate Disponett having any chance in November.

Rayborn had a meet and greet at Lapping park a week or so ago.

I know him and Dave both, I like them both, never seen anything dishonest or shady out of either of them. I do NOT believe Rayborn is connected to the gang of 4, but I don't know about Dave. I may be wrong, but I never have been before.

I am not a Democrat.

Meet & Greet at Lapping Park.....obviously didn't advertise everywhere because I didn't know about it.  Why should I come to you?  Shouldn't you be seeking out and talking to the people you want to represent?  That is the problem I see with all candidates.  If you count on word of mouth, you will only reach certain circles.  This is the challenge for all elected officials.  If you can't find a way to connect with the people you represent, or wish to represent, how can we trust that you will hear our voice and represent us rather than voting what you "think" we want.  Do you propose to know what the majority of us are thinking?  Or do you only listen to the few that you have easy access to that make all the noise?  I challenge any Clarksville candidate that wants my vote to contact me, and tell me you want my vote!  Tell me why I should vote for you.  Use the messenging feature on the chatter!  Be creative!  I will make it easy for you, my screen name is my email address @gmail.
