Now, that you mention it with helpful informational analytical assists like ..."BS"... and ..."minds",...

the breakfast posse was  awonderin' this morning how the experienced,

long time councilman John Perkins is adoin'

among the 1st District voters' thoughts?

With the fireperson out of the race,

that frees up a lot a lot of fire department members

to go with the other strong union endorsements that bro JP will receive.

There is a lot of interest with four very good candidates.

Becka Christensen, Katie Miller, attorney Dustin White,

and the elder statesman John Perkins.

Unions always endorse democrats.

One time Perkins listed the U.A.W. as an endorsement. I asked the leaders of local 862 why they were endorsing him and was told he was a Democrat and asked for the endorsement. As a rule I never pay attention to union endorsements, they aren't worth the ink it took to print it.

So, what is the order of finish

in the vaunted Democrat Primary nomination process?

1.

2.

3.

4.

...."union endorsements, they aren't worth the ink it took to print it"....

I didn't know that .....
I have been told that a lot of union families would disagree with that.

Hmmm, I was under the impression that union endorcements are often very beneficial.

The ISTA is one that is very powerful in Indiana.

Is that why the fireman very narrowly defeated

Councilman Perkins ?

Question before the house:

Had the candidtate who edged brother JP

in his last council race NOT been

a fireman and union member,

and not gotten their support,

would he have won

the very narrow

victory?

Quasar, great point! The abused taxpayers!

Question:

How do the candidates and the taxpayers  feel about adding an additional $3,000,000 to $6,000,000

to the already nearly $5,000,000 spent on the soccer gig?

Priorities in spending scarce tax monies?

The soccer spending as a priority will be of concern this fall.

Callie Jahn vs KV?

Gill vs Fetz?

At-large critters:

Samuels, Rodriguez, Webb, Owen?

Others?

How will the union members feel

about someone saying their endorsement is worthless?

Sounds like a Saville Rowe prediction. SR doesn't hang out at coffee shops. Kelly is right!

I guess, since no one answered my question, Gill had nothing in the way of a proposal to reduce sewer rates. Fetz did. I guess

that means he wins on that issue.

The crapper flapper did not reduce the sewer rate. It may have reduced the bill depending on the number of flushes per month or the amount of water that seeps past the old flapper. Not saying the flapper was a bad idea but it did not reduce the rate.

Bro Pesty does have  a valid point.

Keith Fetz was saving water and reducing sewer bill costs.

It may be painful to some, but it is a valid plan.

The attacks miss the point.

Again.

Point  to Pesty,

Advantage Fetz.

Yeah.....but a butt-plug will lower your sewer bill, too. Have to agree with NSBHM on this one.....the "flapper" has NOTHING to with LOWERING THE RATE, & that's what ALL Jeff Sewer customers need / deserve!!

Just my opinion......stinks like 10th & Spring!!

Yeah Rod.  So you agree I guess. Fetz was doing something to help lower your costs. Gill not so much.

True. Flappers did not reduce the rate. But there is no denying that it can reduce the cost. I saw flappers at Lowes a few weeks ago while we were looking for a new kitchen faucet. Still a very cheap investment at only 5 to $15. It really is past the time when people have to realize that sewer rates will never go down. Reduction in water usage is the only way to get relief. Water saving toilets, updated plumbing and fixtures, and simply not wasting water  is the only solution to higher sewer rates.

Sorry to get off topic, but for real, it's up to each individual household to reduce their own water consumption or pay the price. Facts are facts. Bitching and moaning gets you no where. Trust me, I've done enough bitching and moaning of my own.
