I was looking at Fetz Facebook and he stated he has been on the side lines For the last 3 years and ready to go back to work for the people of jeffersonville. What I find ironic is if memory serves me correctly Mr Fetz on the last year of his term he didn't show up most of that last year. I would have to double check with to clerks office but I'm Pretty sure he missed most of the council meetings so he is not one that I would support in the upcoming city elections. On the other hand I have personally seen Mrs Gill at many if not all council meetings and I have asked her for help on a few issues in my neighborhood and without delay those issues were addressed. So I would personally stand behind Mrs Gill in the upcoming city elections and hope everyone else will too. Again I would like to thank Council person Gill for all your help with our street flooding and repairs to our sidewalks thanks again

Other than wanting to convert the park at Park Place into a dog park. Let's see, he also wanted to make Jeff a tree city.

Other than that I don't remember him doing much else.

On the other hand, Mrs. Gill has been very attentive to the needs of the city.

Her re election would be a no brainer.

Crapper flapper?  I don't get it.

It was Fetz curs to high sewer bills, he wanted to put a water restricting device in everyone's toilets.

Exactly.

Bathroom humor=Yawn.

Regardless of how one might feel about Mr. Fetz, it actually showed potential as being a very viable option ( as one piece of the puzzle) to the ever-increasing sewer bills.

I keep finding it necessary to remind people that flappers work! Old leaky toilets are the cause a lot of wasted water consumption. Which in turn causes higher sewer bills. The sewer department cannot adjust for running or leaking toilets. It's like flushing money on a monthly basis. I know it's fun to make poo poo jokes, but don't forget that flappers save serious money. A simple, cheap way to possibly lower your water and sewer bills.

Chopper and Jules, I don't think you're getting the point.

"Crapper Flapper" also rhymes.

To me this race is like picking the best of two evils.

Look at the other local blogs, it easy to see where Fetz has gone off his rocker, he has proven himself to be mentally unstable.

Gill?

She is part of the machine, anything for a buck.

You hitting the pipe?

What you see is what you get with Lisa. The machine may well be working all around her, but she's too decent to see it. Really. Loyal to a fault maybe, but not doing anything for selfish reasons.

She does as good a job as any currently on the council of gathering information and following the numbers, and she is incredibly receptive to her constituents' concerns. She's been very active at the neighborhood level.

I can't see her being beat.

I have to say that Lisa was very kind to me when I was questioning the non-reverting fund for the Woehrle complex.  She tried very hard to explain her position to me even though I am not in her district.  She was professional, thorough and honest.   While we agreed to disagree about the topic, I have respect for her willingness to communicate with the people of Jeff and answer questions.  I can't say the same for the councilman who represents my district!

Just an opinion formed by reading comments in the local paper, never met the woman myself.

You may be right.

Pesky Coffee Shop News Versions

1.)The very early 2015 analysis looks like the Democrats will keep the clerks' office

and are in serious contention to pick up a net gain of one seat on the council

to go up to possibly four seats.,

2.)The early morning line, is showing that the Republicans

will hold the mayor's office

and possibly five  council seats.,

3.)The Jeffersonville City Court does not have candidates

this year and the Indiana General Assembly will be looking at the establishment

of of a new court that would see the next judge appointed by Governor Pence

in the future.

That would be  a pick up by the Republicans.

4.) Remember, that this is not my opinion,

nor a prediction by me,

so no hate speech directed toward me please.

Just the

coffee shop

elucidations.

Pesky Coffee Shop Fun News Versions

Callie Jahn is looking really strong as a newcomer to the Jeffersonville political scene
as are  Steve Webb and Russ Maples.
KV ( '352' )may be going down yet again to an overall 2-3 record on his political journeys.
Callie Jahn is working and organized

The at-large council critters race in the General Election is looking like a contest between
D's Samuels and Rodriquez
and R's Webb and Owen.
Some observers are saying that Owen is fading
and is in fourth place,
but I am not so sure. .
The Republican straight party vote is significant.
Chairman Jamey  Noel is well liked, very organized, and a successful leader.

More Dern Pesky Coffee Shop Fun News Versions
Mike Moore  looks very strong  in the mayor's race.
Vicki Conlin looks very good in the clerk's race.
The city court was weirdly assassinated by nefarious/shadowy sources,

sooo you don't get to vote for a judge this year!
It appears that the 1st District council critters' primary race is a real dogfight.
The Democrat's have four very strong contenders and should hold that seat in the fall.
Samuels and Rodriquez are  the D frontrunners at-large.
Keith Fetz is very well liked, and exceptionally
well organized with significant
under the radar
bi-partisan support.
Attacks upon him will backfire.
Those dang  coffee shop experts are putting that seat as a pickup for the D's.
Several seasoned and usually accurate observers are looking at the at-large
council critter race
in the Fall to be a finish in order of Samuels,

then Rodriquez and Webb who are reportedly now running even
with Owen falling to fourth.
Where is Dawn Elston?
