The ballot is full of clowns

Dist 1 - DW - how many committees is he on?  I lost count

Dist 4 - AF - who is he?

At Large - LJ - has not voted in 15+ years

Mayor - DJ - guess Walnut Ridge will be getting more contacts

Please do your research before casting your vote

I have seen a couple of yard signs touting Louis Hancock for mayor. I am unfamiliar with him. Does anyone know who he is, and whether he is affiliated with a political party?

Hancock is a democrat and is running against Julius for mayor.  The only thing I have heard about him is he use to work at the animal shelter.

Thanks for the info. I hadn't realized that anyone was running against Julius in the primary.

I met someone that knows LJ today and they had nothing but great things to say about him.  After the conversation, I decided that the fact that he hasn't voted does not matter to me. I will give him my vote.

I moved this to a citywide thread because it has broader implications.....

It would be in the best interests

of Jeffersonville to find out the FULL DISCLOSURE
from the current council members
:
"Have any current city council members moved from one branch to another and are now double dipping?
"Have any current city council members been promised a job for 2015 in exchange for the support
of a mayoral candidate?
What is the true story?

:poke:

Those questions are very relevant to
Jeffersonville.

The voters should be made aware of the answers to those questions
to the current council members.....

Just disclose to us.

No tricks, please.
The questions are now on the record.
Please, no attempted really weak obfuscations.

  :bye: :bye:

Eric Headrick Fire Chief
( Hamerhead landscaping that has big 4 city contract )
Rick Lovon Mayors right Hand man

Mayor - DJ - guess Walnut Ridge will be getting more contacts

Please do your research before casting your vote

SO I guess when Walnut Ridge won those bids by bidding in accordance with the Indiana Purchasing guidelines they got them because he was on the council? Wow interesting.

So how about the Fire Chief and his new part time job as a street cleaner around the Big 4 Bridge? Awarded by RD and RD is ran by Who? The Mayor unofficially.

Then how about Paying JTL $18000.00 for a pot hole study and asphalt planning? Awarded by who, Public Works ran by who Moore!

Then how much has been paid to ETG for plans and designs over the last 3.5 years for RD projects? Who said something to the effect 3.5 years ago he would solicit other groups to present plans other than Construction Solutions? Oh thats right Moore!!

Was it DJ badmouthing INDOT when the walking bridge did not open on time because RD wanted to change the lighting scheme? Nope once again it was the Mayor. See where this is going? If not I took notes over the last 3.5 years

Before you point that righteous stick at someone look at the current problem sitting there in the Mayors office. He says one thing and does the complete opposite.

SR, if you know more about FULL DISCLOSURE, do tell, instead of instructing others to "try harder."

You allude to knowing answers, but you want others to dig deeper.

Cut to the chase!
