Several studies show that mass shooters are not deterred by methods like this.
I just got a call from a deputy prosecutor who asked me:
"Will the children live in a prison camp
type environment that will be of questionable value,
parents and taxpayers subjected to "instant record searches"?

He said that it is chilling.
He said the excuse that is always used
as a justification is that
it is "FOR the children"...

Big Brother "Visitor Management Software" ?

A "Raptor System" is now watching the peasants?

Anyone who plans to do harm within a school building would not be stopped by a computer check.  Or a locked door.  Or would not go through a procedure to have a background check before volunteering.  

A computer check won't stop a bad guy.   Total waste of time and money besides the fact that it may be illegal if this is what they are planning.

has purchased a new visitor management soft-ware

that will begin being utilized on Monday, March 16. When visiting a GCCS building,

visitors will now have to present their driver’s license to a designated staff member. The SYSTEM

will perform a quick background check on the visitor."

Code Name Operation Raptor

Are the powers at the GCCS's now demanding that American citizens

have to undergo a "background check" by government officials to enter the schools

they are paying for when there is no reasonable suspicion or probable cause to detain the citizen?

Security is one thing, but a computer background invasion of privacy is astounding.

This cannot be true. The schools would never do this

to the citizens and say it is "for the children".

The crazed shooters that may have been on Prozac, etc.,  are going to say "oops"

to the little old lady at the desk at the door and just leave....
