(Lyrics)
Don't call it a comeback
We been here for years
We leave it on the court, blood, sweat and tears

Those comebacks are for big ten losers
This B Town, home of IU Hoosiers

Since McCracken
we be smackin all oponents
1940 whats happenin

When ya see us
Wanna be us
We be rollin down campus
On the b bus

ONE GOAL ONE HEART ONE WALL
One more banner in the basketball
CATHEDRAL IMA NEED YOU TO SCREAM THROUGH
AT THE ASEEMBLY HALL!

WHO GONNA KNOCK YOU OUT?
HOOSIERS GON KNOCK YOU OUT!

Don't call it a comeback
Ya cant see the scope
Purdue DON'T win at all they Pur-DON'T!

West lafayete may be getting upset
But do they have a banner
(let me check) NOT YET --
OH!

Now baby this B town- we commin up
And we layin beats down- we feelin tough
And we're slammin beat downs- and top the feats of all those who come round

You better see that it ain no illusion
Heard what I said?
BIG RED'S NEVER LOSIN

We'll turn the tourney inside out
Cus the team's got a dream and the journey's all about this

ONE GOAL ONE HEART ONE WALL
One more banner IN the basketball
CATHEDRAL IMA NEED YOU TO SCREAM THROUGH
AT THE ASEEMBLY HALL!

WHO GONNA KNOCK YOU OUT?
HOOSIERS GON KNOCK YOU OUT! (I said, now remind me, etc)

Columbus had three ships
But we got five
Dunkin off put backs and baseline drives

As good from the arc as we are inside
Kentucky can run but they sure cant hide

I know the crimson guard can get scary
Why don't Ya just ask john calipari
Maybe he would play us if he grew some balls
But he's too affraid of assembly hall

Don't call it a comeback
your team can't hit free throws
We got Zeller and Oladipo

We got Sheehey
Hittin them Threehees
Best sixth man in the nation easily

Hulls hittin em from half court
He and Yogi so good and their both so short

am I missing anyone let me think again
Active leading scorer in the whole big ten
Love that shot everytime it goes in
When Dan Shulman screams WATFORD FOR THE WIN! YESSSSS! YESSS!!!

Indiana Hoosiers Cement Themselves as Big Ten Contenders After Win vs. Maryland

By Tyler Brooke , Featured Columnist Jan 23, 2015

http://bleacherrepor...win-vs-Maryland

Before the 2014-15 college basketball season, many predicted that the Indiana Hoosiers would be near the bottom of the Big Ten standings.

Now, after a convincing 89-70 win over the No. 13 Maryland Terrapins, the Hoosiers have put themselves back on the map.

Currently tied with the Wisconsin Badgers at the top of the Big Ten, the Hoosiers are 15-4 with a 5-1 conference record. The reason? Their high-powered offense, which ranks ninth in the nation with 81.9 points per game while shooting 40.6 percent from behind the arc (10th in the country).

It is an unfortunate turn of events... its starting to look like they may be doing well enough to avoid terminating Crean... While I enjoy seeing IU do well, it's just prolonging the inevitable.

Quasar, that is very true.
Crean is a JV coach....
I heard that it will cost an $11,000,000 buyout.
AD Glass set that up according to news reports......

If I were Michael McRobbie... I would find a way to be pals with Tom Jurich...

Buy him a pair of matching Corvettes or whatever it takes to get him to share his short list of AD prospects... then hire one of them!

Q, you hit the nail PRECISELY on the head!!! This "new-found" success will just allow Crean to hang on longer and run the IU program further and further into the ground. For Christ's sake, the man had TWO (count 'em.....1......2!!) top 5 NBA Draft Picks, yet couldn't make it to the Elite 8 with them......on the contrary, IU made Syracuse look like the Miami Heat that game, and all "ol Tom" could do was pace the sideline and tug at his tie. He's REAL GOOD at that.........but a lousy basketball coach!!! His ONLY success in the college game was during the Dwayne Wade era......other than that he's a mediocre coach AT BEST.......his record shows that!!

IU will NEVER return to prominence with him at the helm. There are other good coaches out there (and not necessarily "big names") that IU could get that are better coaches of the game. Crean = good guy, decent recruiter, LOUSY with the X's and O's!! He couldn't stop a run with Kaopectate!!!!! And DON'T get me started with his asinine substitution patterns.......the guy has done some really STUPID things when it comes to subbing.......THAT'S been referenced by IU fans and basketball talking heads alike!!

Crean winning now means the agony will be prolonged.........U G H !!!

PATHETIC!!!! Tom Crean is a sorry excuse for a coach!! He's GREAT at making other teams look like NBA All-Stars!!

I SO WISH Indiana would can him AND Fred Glass simultaneously!!! They're BOTH pathetic!!!

Quasar and JHS1982
are certainly correct.
Crean and Glass  are  an embarrassment.

Kind of proves my point that we're going to have to replace Glass before we can get a real coach...

ESPN: Indiana AD: 'Bullish' on Tom Crean

Tom Crean's job at Indiana is not in jeopardy, and athletic director Fred Glass told ESPN on Thursday that he fully supports the Hoosiers' coach.

Glass said he had to respond after a 77-63 home loss to Iowa on Tuesday dropped the Hoosiers to 9-8 in the Big Ten, 19-11 overall heading into Saturday's regular-season finale against Michigan State at Assembly Hall.

"I'm bullish on Tom," Glass told ESPN. "He's done a really good job with these guys. It's ridiculous to say that someone is coaching for his job for one game and that it would be up or down in one game."

Glass said he met with Crean on Wednesday and reassured him about his job security.

ANOTHER pathetic display of basketball today against Michigan State. The defense had more holes than my favorite pair of underwear, & once again, Crean's lack of a game strategy, or ability to stop a run, has once again proven that IU basketball is irrelevant!!! Sad.....truly sad!!

"He's a great coach," Glass said. "He has my full support.

I have a great deal of confidence in Tom's body of work."

"There is a sense that Tom is only keeping his job because of the buyout,"

Glass said. "And while that's a big number and a significant amount of money,

that's not what is keeping him in the job." Glass said the terms of Crean's contract buyout

-- likely paid over multiple years and not as a lump sum -- would not be an

impediment to any decision. The Hoosiers could buy out

the deal for $12 million until July 1 and then

$7.5 million after. It would drop

to $4 million in July 2016

and then down to

$1 million for

2017-20.

Is  that being rather optimistic......?

If you have to win six games to be bowl eligible,

who on the rest of the Indiana University schedule is in big trouble?

Can the IU quarterback Nate Sudfeld  hit his targets?
Will the receivers hold onto the ball?
Can the defensive line hold?
Will the defensive secondary step up their coverage?

Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, Michigan State, Iowa, Michigan, Maryland, Purdue.
Need two more victories to be bowl eligible. Which ones will Indiana University pick off?
