If we're going to start writing off liars, let's have a peek at the Trump-o-meter...

I'm cool with that...

However, anyone wanting to whoop up on liars should be willing to do so for any candidate... regardless of party affiliation...

And now it's time for Carson to get out of this race...

Ben Carson’s campaign on Friday admitted, in a response to an inquiry from POLITICO, that a central point in his inspirational personal story was fabricated: his application and acceptance into the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

The academy has occupied a central place in Carson’s tale for years. According to a story told in Carson’s book, “Gifted Hands,” the then-17 year old was introduced in 1969 to Gen. William Westmoreland, who had just ended his command of U.S. forces in Vietnam, and the two dined together. That meeting, according to Carson’s telling, was followed by a “full scholarship” to the military academy.

West Point, however, has no record of Carson applying, much less being extended admission.

Not so fast... just another media hit job?

The Carson campaign disputes Politico’s unsubstantiated claim he ever claimed to have applied to West Point or been admitted: “He never said he was admitted or even applied.”

“This is what we have come to expect from Politico.”

Here is the full statement Watts provided to TheDCNF:

“Dr Carson was the top ROTC student in the City of Detroit. In that role he was invited to meet General Westmoreland. He believes it was at a banquet. He can’t remember with specificity their brief conversation but it centered around Dr. Carson’s performance as ROTC City Executive Officer.

He was introduced to folks from West Point by his ROTC Supervisors. They told him they could help him get an appointment based on his grades and performance in ROTC. He considered it but in the end did not seek admission. There are “Service Connected” nominations for stellar High School ROTC appointments. Again he was the top ROTC student in Detroit. I would argue strongly that an Appointment is indeed an amazing full scholarship. Having ran several Congressional Offices I am very familiar with the Nomination process.

Do you know somebody who isn't? There certainly isn't any dearth of people willing to "whoop up on" democrats in your CCC.

Sure thing. Pretty common place around these parts...

Trump frankly doesn't deserve for anyone to sweat the lying. The stupidity, misogyny, racism, xenophobia and egoism SHOULD be enough to disqualify him without anyone wasting their time fact-checking his bullshite.

Neurosurgeon Carson arguably deserved that level of legitimacy but apparently failed to hold up under scrutiny.

I am curious, why when the news media feeds the public so much misinformation, do people automatically believe it?

If it's on the internet, it MUST be true!  Ha! Ha!

Having said that, whether its true or not, Carson is still bat-sh*t crazy.

We are FINALLY going to get this show on the road! We are about two weeks out from Iowa...

http://www.uspreside...edule-calendar/

What do you think will happen in Iowa?

The latest RCP averages have Clinton +4 over Sanders... and Trump and Cruz in a dead heat...

http://www.realclear...s/latest_polls/

I wonder what Hillary is thinking... is she going to feel the Bern? 2008 all over again?

And the Republican establishment peeps must be wetting themselves by now with The Donald still sitting atop of the pools and may start winning right out of the box in Iowa...

This is going to be fun folks!

I can see Bernie winning Iowa and New Hampshire. But I'll be surprised to see the Democratic Party nominate him. Just can't see him winning in November... seems the country has drifted to the right, or at least the media makes it seem so.

Glad to see that Rand made the main stage for tomorrow night...

Fox News announced Tuesday that Sen. Rand Paul — relegated to the undercard at the Jan. 14 South Carolina debate, which he skipped — will rejoin the main stage Thursday in the GOP debate in Des Moines.

Rand is out... dammit...

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul said today he is suspending his 2016 campaign for president.

"It's been an incredible honor to run a principled campaign for the White House," Paul said in a statement. "Today, I will end where I began, ready and willing to fight for the cause of liberty.

I totally don't get why he's doing this before New Hampshire.

I am going to guess it's about money.

He still has a race to win in Kentucky.

Yea i don't either... he appeared to have plenty of cash at the end of the year... and normal people (non political junkies), are just now beginning to pay attention... took fifth in Iowa... doesn't make sense to me...
