Anyone know why there are not any replays of GCCS Holiday Programs on Channel 25?

I am inferring that new WJHS instructor (and Melin's friend) does not know how to post programs to Channel 25. This is why there have been no WJHS broadcasts this year to date! The students have not been allowed to broadcast. The students have been busy cleaning the classroom and watching movies. Such a waste!

You could ask the GCCS Media Specialist?

My nephew quit the program and many others followed when Melin brought in a buddy and removed Mr Gross from WJHS after he did such a wonderful job with the kids for 10 years. Daily TV news and Sports gone. Our community channel is now a joke.... You can tell who works and who doesn't now. .

My sources say that there has been no footage filmed this entire school year.

Anyone know what is budgeted for this?

Does this have anything to do with the development of the radio program discussed on another thread?

Everything to do with it, in my estimation.

Kelley --- this is connected to the other thread.   The bonds to be issued are for $4.5 million..   It covers the radio stations at JHS, CHS and NWHS with a "little" leftover for "whatever".   The cost of the radio stations was said to be about $1.9 mill for JHS; $1.7 for CHS and only $120,000 or so for NWHS --- not sure why so much less for NWHS.   I do know from the claims registers that someone has been buying a lot of equipment for the radio program from BestBuy on the school's credit card -- before the bond issue was approved.

This is such a waste of money when we had a good program with Mr. Gross.

REMEMBER this when the school system starts to close neighborhood schools and tries to push a tax referendum on the taxpayers to build a bunch of new schools.

Melin hired a Radio engineer. A man who does TV Repair. He has absolutely NO TALENT, has never been in or on a TV newscast and can't teach students any of the above. SO in this move Melin has decided to basically put an end to WJHS Student TV at Jeff High and concentrate money on a radio program that will end up costing the corporation hundreds of thousands of dollars. This guy needs to be stopped and quickly.

Crap!  I feel an aneurism coming on!  Please say "NO" to a tax referendum and to closing neighborhood schools.
