Maybe some of you folks in the know can confirm the Copper Kettle scuttlebutt.  Word in the Kettle is Bob is talking his employees and/or their spouses into running for Council in the upcoming election.  If this is true, how loud can I scream CONFLICT OF INTEREST!  If you want to run for office then you shouldn't be able to control the pay and benefits for your own (or your spouse's) job, just saying.

Is scuttlebutt always on the menu, or only at certain times.

Man I sure hope Bob Hall does'nt get who he picks elected, who ever he picks must be able to cry on cue, trying as hard as he could,he could not make a single drop.

Charlestown,Beware,if Bob Hall gets his council in place, there will be no stopping him and no one or no one's property will be safe from Bob Hall turning Charlestown into his "Vision" of a Morman Rockwell community!

Slwatcher,There are 5,4 by precinct and 1 at large.

The funny thing is that Bob Hall had enough votes for the Razing at an earlier meeting, through his own arrogance and because he wanted (in my opinion)to shift the responsibility to the entire council, made sure that he re-positioned the council meeting to a much larger venue,(the A and E Center)so the public and the press could see that "HIS" resolution was supported by all 5 council members.

Even his most loyal council members, some that have never disagreed with Mayor Hall on "ANY ISSUE",or for that manner even "DARED" to question him,"JUMPED SHIP",from the look on Hall's face he must have thought he had been reincarnated as Captain of the Bounty!

Pleasant Ridge Subdivision and all other compassionate citizens of Charlestown, must be thanking the Mr. Christians on the council!

I have a friend who lives in the Charlestown Housing Authority, she said Bob Hall knocked on her door Sunday night(yes you read me right) and asked if her or any children in her home would like to ride on the train(for free)! He must be getting desperate!

Bob Hall is already trying to replace the votes he lost in Pleasant Ridge. The citizens of Charlestown are backing Bob Hall's political ambitions(at least with their tax dollars)even if they don't want to!(Bob Hall may wnat to consider the fact that many in the housing authority ,have friends or relatives that live in Pleasant Ridge)

You can bet your bottom dollar, he will descriminate against Pleasant Ridge and not take the train there for free rides.(if he does,I'm sure he will have a police escort)
