Aeriel

From your post I assume u know the kirchers. Been in store once, I felt the people working were a little rude.
Do u think they would be defending me if I took 50 items without paying for them (allegedly )

Somehow I doubt it. My opinion.

Very Sad situation. I believe T. P. is a good person who did a very bad thing.

Much like the principal at Jeff high who was caught taking (1) item, he was removed from duty.

I hope T.P. does the right thing and resigns.  She can not be removed from her seat, but I do believe

she needs to step down.  To continue would effect the entire boards credibility.  prayers her way.

If Teresa were to do the right thing and resign her position on the school board what is the process to find her replacement?

That falls to the school board.  Last time out they did the hoots & whistles and irrespective of the committee, they indoctrinated someone they could call their own.  He did run for the school board (but loss) and therefore was fitting to fill the seat.  Doubt that they'll do that this time!

She is represented by Larry Wilder -- I would not look for a quick exit from the school board !!!!

News & Tribune put the story on Page 3. Definitely a Page 1 story. Poor judgement, or something worse?

No, the News & Tribune went with the story of the day and that was a magnificent parade on a stellar day!

Kelley and Donna: Do you think the stories about the Floyd County fair and the GOP primary ballot were also more newsworthy?

My sources say she will stay on board.  Poor decision by her in my view.

Do as I say not as I do.

My sources say she will stay on board.

To volunteer at my daughters school, I must submit to and pass a background check.

If these charges are proven true, she should not be allowed any interaction with students.

Policy is policy.

It was a shock to see the Evening News article about Teresa Perkins.   I am surprised it wasn't on the front page?

Any other elected official would have been front and center.

I don't know the lady personally.  I hope she can work her way thru her issues.  If the video shows that she did

the deed then she should resign.  The school system has enough problems.

If my memory is correct, when Robbie Valentine resign they gave the position to Jerry White. The justification was that Jerry won a lot of votes running against RV indicating that a lot of voters approved of Jerry. So.......going on the past history of the school board, it looks like BECKA should get the appointment when TP resigns.

I bet a lot of those that voted for Teresa now wish they could take back that vote.....

Did she used to be married to John Perkins?
