on friday night at 8pm come one come all and enjoy a wonderful hike at charlestown state park for free! the hike will be guided by the parks local naturalist jeremy beaven! the entrance gate is closed for the season and park entrance is free! night hikes happen at the park every month on the full moon and are always guided by the naturalist and free with park admission. the purpose of the hikes are to increase awareness in the park, encourage fun and are for the most part social events where you can meet new freinds and have a great time while getting in some exercise and listening to the night animals in the park such as the owls. a red light flashlight is reccomended but not necessary. children are welcome but sometimes the dark woods are scary for small childrenanyone interested in more info can visit charlestown state park on facebook or give the office a call. hope to see you there!
