I think it's a shame (and should be illegal) that the powers that be do not notify the neighbors of these type things. But I guess it makes it easier for them to avoid all the protests beforehand.......

Talked to the reporter about the home on Walnut to be demolished. Both of us came to the conclusion that somewhere along the line someone got mixed up on street names and Walnut was typed by mistake. There is no way a house 5 blocks from the walking bridge would be in the way.

Anyone know if this information is true?... You have your house for sale... you have it priced .... the city pulls eminent domain.... they have to pay you the price you are asking.
