Other than ice cream and chili dogs, what's good up there.  Never been, and I've given up eating sweets, but I like chili dogs and wondered if they had any other sides, burgers, etc.

Mainly an ice cream place... They have a variety of dogs... Pork bbq... Chips... Thats about it.

Thanks.  You had me at BBQ. It is always nice to have variety, and we pass their area every so often, so it is nice to have another place to stop.

If you love chili dogs, Golden Twist's are by far the best around these parts.  (I know I know, a lot of folks don't like Golden Twist because Harry owns it but you can't deny the food is GOOD!)

Just FYI Golden Twist is closed until March. AND... I do like some of their food and eat lunch there on occasion. The roast beef lunch special and the chicken and dumplings are pretty darn good. I personally would disagree on the chili dogs though, they are good but not nearly as good as Chillers / Zesto imo.

Bummer, I thought they were staying open all winter now.  Haven't been over that way in some time though.  I musta hit Zestos on a bad chili dog day cuz I took one bite, and ended up tossing the rest out the window to some dogs.  Haven't tried another one since, too much money to waste if I don't like it.  Of course I'm from up North and coney's up there aren't sweet nor real spicy-pretty much how Golden Twist's are.  Haven't had the dumplings there-Quasar-are they noodle dumplings or biscuit dumplings?

AHHHHHH!  Just had a Chicago Dog and chocolate shake from Chillers!  Life is good again!

My sister told me she's bummed that Golden Twist just recently closed for the winter. I told her no worries because Chillers just opened. When one door closes another one opens!

She swears that Golden twist has the best chicken salad sandwich ever. Now I'll have to wit til March to try one.
