I received an email from Jamie Noel today that encouraged me to come to the victory center to make phone calls. I later received a phone call from a friend asking when I was going to participate and then asked if I was going to Kelly Khuri's fundraiser this Sunday, I had no clue what they were talking about. Apparently my friend received a different email. What is going on? Are there selective emails being sent?

Since you are friends with Jamey via Facebook, by posting this you must be implying that Jamey is fully supporting all the Republican candidates equally.

Is that correct PokerPlayer?

The fact that you received both and I received one tells me that there are selective emails being sent. As the district's Chairman he shouldn't be playing favors. I am not friends with him and can't imagine why I would want to be, he seems to be very standoffish and unapproachable. I am concerned about his selective support. It is reminiscent of two years ago when there was no support for Todd Young from the Clark County GOP. It seems Kelly is being put into the same category. He needs to be the bigger man and do his job. His job is to support ALL 9th district candidates, regardless of his like or dislike for them. If he can't, then he isn't the right man for the job.

I got both emails and get emails almost every day with republican candidate info, also on facebook.  I don't understand people wanting to start trouble again.  Sounds like the good ole boy democrats are at it once again.

Why don't you direct this question to every day poster "Tina".  Khuri's campaign manager I believe.  Maybe she can shed some light on the subject.  I know there are a few pictures of Khuri at functions and parades and Noel is in the photos with her.  I think he is working hard for them all from what I have seen.

Tina, what do you think?  Put this to bed please :)

Yes, I would love an explanation. I have been told that Kelly's fundraiser/birthday celebration will have spaghetti, ice cream, cake and entertainment. I have spoken to others that weren't supplied this information. I was on an email list that didn’t even mention her fundraiser. It seems that Jamie selectively sent information that Kelly was having a fundraiser that costs $5 without any of the details of the event. This is despicable as a leader. I now have all of the details for her event. I challenge Jamie to invite all Clark County Republicans to her event with all of the details, the same as he did with Ron Grooms event last month. Show us true leadership.

This is the email I got with other info included, but here is what it said about Khuri that you are saying wasn't there.  Sounds like a great event and came out to constant contact, so thousands of people got it.  What is your problem?  It doesn't mention ice cream and cake, duh, it is a "birthday party"!  Khuri is the ONLY candidate mentioned in the whole email.   Good lord, please move on and take time out to help her get elected, not making trouble!

The problem? I got an email that invited me to work at the victory center without the Kelly event included. I've seen what you were sent many times. I asked all of my friends what they were sent. Some were sent what you received amd some weren't. The fact that the details were deleted are surprising. Did you know that there would be food served at Kelly's celebration? I would guess not. That is how poorly Jamies email was sent.

Again, it is a birthday party for someone running for office.  I would be dumb if I thought I was gonna pay money for a "party" and not get food of some sorts. ALL details needed are there.  You are beating a dead horse.  Why don't you call tomorrow and get on the email list.  It is that simple.  OR call her campaign and get your answer to your above question, I think you will be surprised.  Or maybe Tina will see this and answer you and make you feel better.  Get off Jamey's back, he is working hard for all candidates and there are pictures of him with them ALL!  :sorcerer:

I beg to differ, I would love to have seen an invite to Kelly's event. I didn't get it. The only thing I received was the invite to work at the call center. I was sent the alternate email. I will stay on Jamies back as long as he is selective in his support for REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES. I want him to do his job.

I just noticed that the last thread you started was about Jamey Noel too.  What is the obsession?  What is your problem with him.  Isn't there other things in life to worry about.  If you are getting emails, then you know they need callers to help the republicans WIN this fall, why don't you go make use of your time and help your favorite candidates instead of obsessing over something like cake?  Sounds like you need to dial up Jamey Noel and talk to him "personally" to get over your personal problem with him  :bye:

For the record, had I not been called in by name to this specific thread, I would NOT have replied to this thread at all.

Hey Jamey!  I was wondering if it would be possible for you to send out the following announcement to the Republican email list?  Thanks, Martina

****

Supporters of Kelly Khuri cordially invite the public to attend a celebration in honor of her birthday on Sunday August 12th from 4-9pm.  The Campaign for Kelly Khuri will host a spaghetti dinner at the old one room Prather schoolhouse on Charlestown Pike.

"We will have a birthday cake and homemade ice cream," said Kelly Khuri for County Council supporter Martina W. "There will be musical entertainment in the evening for your enjoyment."

Organizers suggest using this opportunity to take a Sunday drive and bring along lawn chairs so you can stay and visit after eating.

"We invite you to meet Kelly and voice your thoughts on Clark County Government," W said.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5 per adult, $10 for a family with dependents.
Prather Schoolhouse 6348 Charlestown Pike, Charlestown, IN
Contact Martina W (XXX)XXX-XXXX or Teresa B (XXX)XXX-XXXX for more information.

Jamey,
Just curious: why did you take off the part about the spaghetti dinner/cake/ice cream?

Thanks for the post Tina. I now know for a fact that Jamie didn't send a mass email to all Republicans and he shortened your request in place of a redundant notice already sent to all Clark County Republicans.
As to Peter Rabbit, I have no obsession with Jamie, what I am obsessed with is selective support on a local and national level, I am also voicing my concerns on the National level.  This man is being selective with his support as a leader of the Clark County GOP and the 9th district and I find it very offensive. All that I am requesting is that Jamie man up and support all candidates and put his personal feelings aside. If he can’t then it’s time for him to move on to a different position where his feelings don’t apply.

Why don’t everybody just move on and give it up.   I have.  It is what is it is or what you believe it is as the case maybe but it does nothing, absolutely nothing to accent the benefits what Kelly brings to the table to help solve the counties fiscal problems so we don’t end up like the nation and now some California towns are experiencing.

Why don’t we focus on that.  Please.

We can, but the Republicans in the county, and the district, have every right to focus on what they feel to be bad leadership from Mr. Noel as well. Why can't we do both?
