Please join in this musical adventure. Add whatever music video you like, as long as you add it between the hours of 5:00 p.m. Friday and 12:01 a.m. Monday. I'll start it off with this:

Little Feat: There's A Fat Man In The Bathtub (with the blues)

And, because I'm of a "certain" age and started this thread, another Little Feat tune: "Old Folks Boogie":

"You know that you're over the hill when you're mind makes a promise that your body can't fill"

My cousin once toured with Little Feat as their opening act. This was the single off his first album...

Awesome...and with a local connection, too!

An old Irish anti war song Springsteen and Seeger Sessions Band

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qcCqq2Hayo

"The wisest were just the poor and simple people. They knew the war to be a misfortune, whereas those who were better off, and should have been able to see more clearly what the consequences would be, were beside themselves with joy. Katczinsky said that was a result of their upbringing. It made them stupid. And what Kat said, he had thought about."

Erich Maria Remarque, All Quiet On The Western Front, Ch. 1

Fantastic love song!!...She wrote this about Clapton when they were together, and he's backing her on it here.

"There ain't nothing like regret to remind you you're alive". And isn't that the truth??!!

Great thread! I'll be livening up the place. :)

Watching this video makes me miss Jamaica. What's better than Bob Marley? A Bob Marley dance remix! Yah Mon!

Love this, but I now realize my netbook speakers are pathetic.

Here's another local connection for you. Jeffersonville boy James Kottak of The Scorpions. You used to be able to walk into Far-Out Music and hear him do this all the time!

I hope I did this right. Playing for Change. Their first video, very powerful. And it didn't hurt my feelings that "my" sweet Grandpa was in it.
